Awesome Child of the Day:

Letter Of Note of the Day

Upon learning that Andrew Scott, director of the National Railway Museum in York, was due to retire, 6-year-old Sam Pointon offered himself up as the perfect successor. “I have an electrick [sic] train track,” he wrote in his application.

While the museum thought Sam was tad too young to take the lead, they did appoint him Director of Fun. “I love it. It is good fun,” Sam said shortly after starting his new job. “My favourite is the steam engine, I like it when the wheels go round.”
