A 52-year-old Allentown resident phoned 911 yesterday
to report a stubbed toe.
According to
The Morning Call, the injured woman demanded to have an ambulance dispatched to take her to the hospital. The request was initially ignored, but an EMS unit was eventually sent out after the woman called again.
A medic contacted the hospital to let them know a stubbed toe was on the way.
