Qatar announced that for the World Cup 2022, Dr. Saud Abdul Ghani, the head of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at Qatar University, would construct a fleet of solar powered clouds. These remote controlled cloud would cool the players and fans off to the tune of $500,000 a pop. What a brilliant idea… but let’s give credit where credit is due, as Yahoo! Sports pointed out:
